2010 Summary: CHIBI

When I was making the 2010 summary, I saw that there were A LOT of improvements everywhere, so I thought to make a chibi one. I saw that my style of chibi definitely improved a lot as well. The styles were jumping around (not really) but I'm really glad where I'm going with them~

Jan:
Again the start of all digital. Ha. I remember being so proud of this, and Now i look back at horrible lineart. My hand was sho shakey. I don't really like the eyes anymore and the face was SUPER slanted. GOOD TIMES

MARCH:
Yeah I'm pretty sure I don't have any record of the chibis from FEB because they were all from the convention. I did so many though, but they didn't look too different from the beginning of march. March I did a lot of chibis. I definitely started trying to do chibis with watercolor for the first time, That helped me get a better eye for blending colors, for at the end of that month, my copic chibis are less....blotchy? haha

APRIL:
Still chugging along with chibis. I think these were mainly gaia commissions and such, but still I feel like my coloring was too blended and was just a giant blur. OH WELL~

JUNE:
Picked up watercolor again intensely this month. As well as inks. I think there is a definite improvement in coloring from april and june. June was definitely around the time where I started getting obsessed with Petah and Ester, and the birth of the TWINS. * U *. Yeah... I also haven't touched digital with chibis I don't think. If i did, it wasn't note worthy haha.

JULY:
I....think my copic skills dropped. ; A ;. Either that or I was rushing things, and I was more concentrated on larger pieces around this time. Oh well. boo~

AUG:
Oh hey look. Digital chibi. Again a huge improvement with JAN.'s chibi. Definitely a crisper lineart, and nicer coloring. The skin isnt so burnt out like the fisrt one, and idk~ I was pretty proud of the improvement.

SEPT:
Yeahh...as I cept improving digitally, what happened here. It could also be my horrible scanner, but Idk...I started not feeling comfortable with traditional. It just...felt weird. I started practicing again after this horrible encounter :3

OCT:
With the commissions from nekocon and such, I got back into the groove of copic's. I think I got better compositions (HAHAyeahright) with the chibis. Definitely the color is a lot better if anything. Not so blurred and blended out like a mofo c:

DEC:
Definitely SUPER comfortable with digital. I'm really excited. I spent today like 10 hours+ straight just doing digital chibis. I'm really starting to get the hang of it I think. Just looking back at january's chibi's or anything digital to now. I'm so proud of how far I came in just a short month. Gotta keep chugging though
